Melantha's battle dress concept

So here is my idea of what Melantha's outfit for combat will look like. I got the idea for it while I was watching the awesome web series "RWBY". In it two of the character defend what they're wearing to the other characters www.youtube.com/watch?v=y54AEw…. So after some thinking I decided to make an alternate out fit for her under the same principle. I took a look at Supergirl, a sailor scout, Xina, and Tinkerbelle's outfits and used them to as inspiration for this. So here's a summery of the outfit:
The dress is made out of a bio-metallic cloth that is very strong, but not impenetrable, that can "heal" itself when damaged. The gold colored spots on the dress are special armor plates that add extra protection to certain parts of the body. The pink is just for added color because Melantha oddly enough likes pink. It is also a very short dress, because she is mostly a kicker when she goes without weapons, which takes away most restrictions when she fights.
Her boots are knee high's. They offer better protection for her legs than the standard shin guards that some might wear. Only the gold on the toes and at the top are armor, the gold in the middle with the symbol is just decoration.
The gloves are opera length gloves, which means that they go past the elbow in it's length. With these the gold at the hands double as armor plating and as an added form of attack by coming to a point. The hand part is uniquely designed by having articulating claw like fingers that can cut through a lot of thin armor. On the white section of the arms the symbol, in the middle, is embedded there as well.
If you haven't figured it out the black circle with the two pink arrow looking things is her emblem. Don't ask what it means, it's a secret.
